Catherine Fagnan is a seasoned legal executive and corporate governance expert with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and strategic risk management. As a leader, she has held significant roles across infrastructure industries, including her most recent position as Associate General Counsel at Green Infrastructure Partners Inc., where she played a pivotal role in corporate governance, litigation management, and compliance, while also leading efforts to enhance diversity and empower women through her leadership in the "Women@GIP" initiative.

Catherine’s career spans over two decades, during which she has successfully supported large-scale transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. She has held senior roles at TELUS Corporation and Lafarge Canada Inc., where she provided strategic counsel on high-profile deals, risk mitigation, and corporate strategy. Her expertise also extends to construction law, competition law, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters, where she has led transformative initiatives within the organizations she’s served.

In addition to her executive roles, Catherine has been an active board member for Comtech Fire Credit Union and is a Limited Partner with Women Equity Lab (Toronto), supporting innovative female-led start-ups.

Catherine holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg-Schulich, Common and Civil law degrees, a Master in Tax and the ICD.D designation from Rotman. She is admitted to practice law in both Ontario and Quebec, and is fluent in English, French, and proficient in Spanish.
